However, since Antelope Canyon is located on Native American tribal land, different Navajo families or tribes own various sections of the canyon. Each group operates its own tour routes, which is why you’ll find different names like Upper Antelope Canyon, Lower Antelope Canyon, X Canyon, and Slot Canyon. These are distinct areas, each with separate entrance fees and tour experiences.
